Land of Promise Farms would like to remind you that our 1st Annual Summer Club Pig Sale is just one week away on Saturday June 29, 2013. The pigs in the sale are the correct size and age for the North Carolina and Virginia State Fairs as well as any other shows in the month of October. We will be offering both barrows and gilts that will work for the market hog shows and commercial gilt shows.Viewing of the pigs will start at 10 AM on Saturday, June 29th. Lunch will be served at 11:30 AM and the sale will start at 1 PM. Additionally, the pigs are available for viewing this week by appointment.
Approximately 60 pigs will be sold in a bid board/silent auction type format. All pigs sold must be taken at the completion of the sale unless prior arrangements have been made.
